Mark you calendars now for Saturday, July 9 for Fullerton Park and Recreation Department’s “Parent’s Night Out.” While mom and dad are out enjoying themselves, the kids will have a ball with games, arts and crafts, dinner, and a variety of fun activities presented by department personnel. The event will be offered from 5-10 p.m. at Independence Park (801 W. Valencia Drive). It will be $15 per child or $25 for families with two or more children and children must be 3-12 years of age to participate. Space is limited so pre-registration is advised and must be completed by Wednesday, July 6. Buy your tickets now for the Aug. 27 6-9pm Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association’s award-winning Vintage57 – A Premiere Wine & Food Tasting Experience, featuring international cuisine and eclectic wines from around the globe at the Golleher Alumni House. The evening’s menu will be specially paired by Sommelier Diane DeLuca and a silent auction including wine, travel, golf and art items will be held throughout the evening in support of the Alumni Association student scholarship program.
