8am: The Local Affairs Committee meets at the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce offices, featuring OCTA with an update on the 57 freeway widening project.

8am-2pm: Fullerton Certified Farmers Market at Independence Park (801 W. Valencia Dr.)

9-11:30am: Fullerton College’s 2011 Artist in Residence, Gronk, will conduct one of his daily demonstrations at Fullerton College, room 1021. This event is free open to the public.

10-11:30am: The Student Loan Workshop at Fullerton College (Room 226) will teach you about repayment options in terms of educational financing, the differences between a Stafford loan and a PLUS loan. We will also discuss the changes to the student loan program on the horizon, and how they affect you as a student loan borrower.)

10am-12pm: The Stroller Brigade at the Fullerton Museum Center is free for all preschoolers, toddlers and their grown-ups! Come to FMC to enjoy docent-led games, stories, puzzles and crafts in the gallery.

10am-3pm: The Cal State Fullerton Health & Human Development Inter-Club Council presents: Carnival of Connections on the ESC Lawn (above the Fallen David statue) with FREE food, fun, & prizes.

10:15am & 11am: Toddler Storytime at the Fullerton Main Library (Osborne Auditorium) treats children under 3 years old, accompanied by an adult, to a first group experience with stories, songs and fingerplays.

11am: Children ages 2 to 5 are invited to discover new books at each Toddler Storytime! Get your little one to the Barnes & Noble (1923 W. Malvern Ave.).

11am-9pm: Get 5 for $10 wine tasting at Angelo’s and Vinci’s Ristorante. From 11am-3pm check out their lunch buffet and the Special at Woppo’s takeout window!

11am-10pm: Wing Wednesday at NYPD Pizza in downtown Fullerton will add wings to any order for just $0.50 a wing, in counts of 10 and 20.

11:30am-2pm: Grow Your Business with C-Level & free lunch & learn seminar at Fullerton Marriot (2701 E. Nutwood Ave.) Register at the event website.

12-1pm: The Transfer Planning for Business Majors at Fullerton College (Room 1018). This workshop is a transfer planning workshop for students intent on transferring with a business major to a four-year university that will cover what being a business major means and what careers are linked to a business degree and the transfer admission requirements to be admitted as a business major to a university.

1-2:30pm: FAFSA Guided Assistance Labs at Fullerton College (Room 661) will help you fill out forms for financial aid (bring tax information).

Post St. Patrick’s Day Fullerton has plenty in store for you!

9am-4pm: The Fullerton Arboretum hosts its annual “Monster Tomato and Pepper Sale” at The Potting Shed, located on the grounds of the Arboretum. This is the largest annual plant sale in the region focusing exclusively on tomato and pepper plants.

9am-7:30pm: The Judi Garman Classic Softball Tournament at Cal State Fullerton’s Andersen Family Field is 19 schools competing in 45 softball games over a 5-day period. Visit the event site for details on game times. Adults: $16, Seniors and Youths: $12.

10-11am: Creation Station-Messy Art (Ages 3-5 year) at Belly Sprout is $80 for 6 weeks or $15 Drop-in. This exciting class promises to be a hit for your child, where they will chose their own materials to create their own masterpiece.

11am: Join the  Fullerton Chamber of Commerce for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Subway at 1993 W. Malvern Ave., Suite 2C.

11am-3pm: Angelo’s and Vinci’s Ristorante has a hidden secret for lunch special. Their takeout door, Woppo’s Cucina, will do a $3 slice of pizza with 2 salad combo!

4-6pm: The Fullerton Chamber of Commerce Happy Hour Networking this week will be at The Pint House in downtown Fullerton. Bring business cards, an appetite, and meet fellow business associates.

5-7pm: Play fuss ball, hang out, bring some of your favorite beer and share. #OpenBeer is for  young internet professionals that want to exchange ideas and projects over beer. The meetup is organized monthly in Coworking Fullerton (111 N Harbor Blvd., Suite 2).

5-9pm: The Louks To Go gourmet Greek food truck will be at Bootlegger’s Brewery.

5-9pm: Too Fat, Too Furious food truck Fridays at Best Buy Fullerton (120 E. Imperial Hwy.) this week will feature Tropical Shave Ice, Short Stop BBQ, Bacon MANia, Fresh Fries, Crepes Bonaparte and Dogzilla Hotdogs.

6pm: Country Nights at Incahoots is 21+. Learn Line Dancin’ & 2-Steppin’ with drink & food specials for a $5 cover (free before 7pm).

6-10pm: Join Angelo’s and Vincis Ristorante for their 18+ Supper Club with dinner and dancing, a live DJ spinning big band, swing & Latin ballroom. (Tables reserved for those ordering dinner at $20 minimum with 18% gratuity added to bill.)

6-10pm: Get gourmet Greek while at the baseball game; the Louks To Go food truck will be at Goodwin Field for the Cal State Fullerton Baseball game.

6:30pm: A special production of Man of La Mancha will be performed at the Fullerton College Campus Theater as part of the Fullerton High School Theater Festival (recommended for mature audiences). Tickets can be requested through Festival online registration and are subject to availability.

7pm: The Cal State Fullerton baseball team plays Washington in a single non-conference game at Goodwin Field. General Admission is Adults: $8, Seniors and Youths: $6.

7pm: Fullerton College French Film Festival will show Seraphine for $6.50 at the Wilshire Auditorium (315 E. Wilshire Ave.). Tickets can be purchased at the Campus Theater Box Office (714) 992-7150.

7-10pm: Enjoy the 18+ free Comedy show hosted by Vince Royale at Max Bloom’s Cafe Noir in downtown Fullerton (contains adult content). Arrive early to sign up if you’re brave enough to try your hand at comedy.

8-9:30pm: The Dixiedelics will perform live at Bourbon Street.

8-10pm: Get $3 well drinks & $3 domestic beers at 2J’s Lounge for Power Hour.

8-10pm: 365 Days is $10 at Cal State Fullerton Hallberg Theatre, a gut-wrenching chamber theatre piece, which follows the harrowing, actual experiences of Ronald J. Glasser, during his time as a medic overseas, in the Vietnam conflict.

8pm: Tartuffe – A classic comedy, recent Broadway hit and long overdue production featuring CSUF’s graduate students! – plays at Cal State Fullerton’s Young Theatre. Single Tickets $10.

8pm: The Maverick Theater presents The Wedding Singer, Directed by Curtis Jerome. The show ticket is $25 and suitable for ages 13+.

8pm: West Side Terri at the Monkey Wrench Collective theater is one-woman musical workshop production starring Terri Mowrey. Tickets are $12 general admission and $10 students.

8pm: STAGES Theatre presents Twelfth Night – A Bold New Staging of Shakespeare’s rollicking comedy – for  $20, $17 for students and seniors.

8pm-12am: At Big’s Bar & Grill you’ll get Hot Rockabilly All Night! with The Sugar Daddy’s performing live.

8pm-1am: The Rockstar Back Bar is open at The Continental Room with DJs and drink specials every week.

8:30-11pm: The Friday Night Dance Party at The Historic Imperial Ballroom & Fullerton Dancesport Center is $10 per person. No partner required, professional dance teachers available to dance with. For more information call (714) 525-5155.
