Tuesday has great things in store for your tummy in Fullerton! A lot of great food deals, a new food truck stop (!) and, of course, Taco Tuesday!

10-10:30am: Mommy and Me event: Story Time with Amy McCamly at Belly Sprout is free and for all ages.

10-11am: Learn computer fundamentals with one-on-one tutoring with Sam Standring at the Fullerton Main Library (Tutor Study Room). Please call the library at (714) 738-3121 to make an appointment.

10:15am: Toddler Storytime at the Hunt Branch Library (Room D) is for children under 3 years of age and younger, accompanied by an adult. This program provides children with first group experience in enjoying books, nursery rhymes, songs and fingerplays.

10:45am: Preschool Storytime (Hi-Ho The Derry – O) at the Hunt Branch Library (Room E) is storytime for 3-6 year olds. This forty-five minute program features stories, fingerplays, songs, crafts, and puppets. Please register at the children’s information desk.

11am-2pm: Looking for Mexican fare near Cal State Fullerton? Cantina Lounge has lunch specials starting at $6.99.

11am-2pm: Slidebar invites you to enjoy their $7 Express Lunch – build your own sandwich and side.

11am-3pm: At Revolucion 1910 Cantina the lunch specials are only $5.99 with over 10 items to choose from.

11am-4pm: The Fullerton College Art Department presents the Orange County High School Art Exhibition in the Fullerton College Art Gallery (Room 1004). This 8th annual Art Department outreach events celebrates the artistic achievements of various Orange County high school students. Prizes will be awarded at the Closing Reception: Thursday, May 26 from 5-7pm.

11am-9pm: Get 5 for $10 wine tasting at Angelo’s and Vinci’s Ristorante. From 11am-3pm you can enjoy their lunch buffet or get the $3 pizza/salad combo special from Woppo’s takeout.

11am-10pm: Twofer Tuesday at NYPD Pizza in downtown Fullerton means you can buy a large specialty pizza and get a large cheese pizza FREE.

11am-2am: Booze Day Tuesday at House of Eden gets you the only topless bar in town AND $2 well drinks and $2 domestic drafts all day & night.

11:30am-1pm: The Fullerton Chamber of Commerce Networking Lunch at Colette’s Catering at the Meridian Club (1535 Deerpark Dr., 2nd Floor Banquet Center) is for Members and first-time guests ($15, or $20 at the door) to generate weekly leads and referrals, featuring a member presentation. RSVP by the preceding Friday required.

12pm-1am: Don’t forget you can stuff your face with Taco Tuesday deals in Fullerton! (One place where kids eat free!)

1-2:15pm: Creation Station-Messy Art (Ages 4-9 year) at Belly Sprout is $80 for 6 weeks or $15 Drop-in. This exciting class promises to be a hit for your child, where they will chose their own materials to create their own masterpiece.

1:30pm: The Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center offers free art classes led by veteran art educator Veronica Kortz, who teaches beginner through advanced-level students in the use of oil, acrylics, pastels and watercolors. Students must provide their own art supplies.

4pm: The After School Club at the Fullerton Main Library (Osborne Auditorium) is open to children kindergarten through 6 grade. Programs include storytelling, puppets, crafts, creative dramatics, hands-on demonstrations, and visits with special guests. (No registration required.)

4-9pm: At Ruby’s Diner (1301 S. Harbor Blvd.) Kids 12 and under get a Free Kid’s Meal!

4:30pm: The Summit House Restaurant invites you to enjoy $30 Tuesday. Have a three course dinner from North Orange County’s renowned restaurant for only $30.

5-9pm: Catch food trucks together for the first Epic Dinner (NEW food truck stop) at Fullerton Dental Associates (2949 Brea Blvd.) This week eat from The OC Food Truck, Dos Chinos, Bacon Mania, Crepes Bonaparte, Spud Runners, and Oh for Sweets Sake. (Trucks are often subject to change, follow us on twitter for updates!)

5-9pm: Enjoy Service Industry Night at Cafe Hidalgo for 30% off. Be sure to bring your proof of employment.

6-7pm: Fullerton Community Development Director Al Zelinka will conduct a “Community Dialogue” where citizens can discuss issues, concerns and hopes they have regarding the city’s growth and development, at Grace Ministries International, Vision Center, Room 140 (150 S. Brookhurst Rd.)

6:30pm: Join the OC Sierra Club Fullerton Singles Beginners Hike for an approximate 5-mile hike on various trails around Laguna Lake in Fullerton. Wear sturdy boots or sneakers, bring water, a flashlight and money for optional dinner following the hike. The meeting spot is always the same, at the northeast end of Laguna Lake in Fullerton.

7pm: The Fullerton Barbershop Chorus will meet at Eastside Christian Church (2505 Yorba Linda Blvd.) New members are always welcome. For more information call  (714) 871-7675.

7pm: Bedtime Bears at the Hunt Branch Library (Gallery Room) is an evening storytime for children and their families featuring stories, poetry, puppets, songs, films and crafts geared towards three to six years olds. It’s Cinco De Mayo! Another reason to drink in this city with more liquor licenses than square miles! AND Tomorrow is time again for the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk (find out what to go see & where the food trucks will be)!

All Month: Roadkill Ranch has a facebook contest each month. Post a picture of yourself to their “Roadkill Ranch” facebook page wearing one of your favorite Roadkill items and your name will go into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate. They will draw one name at the end of each month!

7:15am: The Fullerton Sunrise Rotary Breakfast Meeting will be held at the Meridian Sports Club (1535 Deerpark Dr.) and new members are welcome. For more information contact Carolyn Johnson at (714) 743-8670.
