2-3pm: “It’s Your Money,” is a free 8-week money management course being offered by the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center. Class will feature local financial experts who will answer questions and help participants gain confidence in controlling their finances. Topics to be discussed include annuities, mutual funds, and more. Registration is required for the course, for registration and further information call (714) 738-6305. While construction of a new center is under way, the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center is temporarily located at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (400 W. Commonwealth Ave.)

7:30pm: The Muckenthaler Cultural Center presents 50 Years of Surf Guitar, a collaborative celebration presentation with Fullerton College Foundation for $35-125. Hear Dick Dale and the Fullerton College Orchestra at the Plummer Auditorium for a fundraiser show benefiting The Muck Arts Education programs and Fullerton College Foundation’s scholarship programs. The first Dr. Jim Young Fullerton Arts Legacy Award will also be presented to Robert Jensen, Dean of Fine Arts, Fullerton College.
