The weather has cooled and just in time to enjoy the rest of the weekend. Check out a plant sale, omelets & opera, or catch some football specials in town! Fullerton has something for everyone!

Fullerton Pooch Park is in need of volunteers to help open or close the park. Volunteers will need to go thru a background check and LiveScan fingerprinting thru the City because you get a key to City property. You can commit to just opening, just closing, both or just as a backup person when one of our regulars can’t do it. If you can help, please send an email to poochpark411@yahoo.com.

All Day: Sunday Football at Stadium Tavern offers you $4 Absolut Bloody’s and $4 mimosas.

8am-2am: At 2J’s Lounge Watch NFL Sunday Ticket plus enjoy free BBQ! Every game, Every Sunday!

9am: FOOTBALL is officially starting! Lucky John’s will have breakfast served ’til it’s gone; and they’ll have Buckets of Mimosas (2 personal bottles of Champagne & your own OJ) for $7, and 12oz Bloody Mary’s ($3) on SPECIAL.

9am-1pm: Build your own omelette (up to 20 items) while catching your favorite NFL games at Roscoe’s Famous Deli in the SOCO District of downtown Fullerton. Today is also the Annual Chili Cook Off!

9am-2pm: At Big’s Bar & Grill get all you can eat Brunch with regular drink purchase for $9.99, or for $15.99 with bottomless mimosas. Drink specials include $4.50 large domestics, $5 bloody marys, and $12 bucket of beer – 5 bottles domestic per bucket.

9am-2pm: The Sunday Brunch Buffet at Cantina Lounge gets you all you can eat  for $15.99 and $4.99 all you can drink champagne/mimosas (only available with the purchase of Sunday Brunch).  Kids 10 and Under eat Free and get drink specials while the football game is on!

9am-2pm: For under $20 you can enjoy brunch at Matador Cantina for breakfast classics with a Mexican-cuisine twist (omelettes, Huevos Rancheros, Mexican Breakfast Pizza and more). Drink specials include $8 Bottomless Champagne or Mimosas and $5 Bloody Marys, Greyhounds and Screwdrivers.

10am-2pm: Visitors are invited to view the display of classic aircraft at the Fullerton Municipal Airport (4011 W. Commonwealth Ave.) and owners of classic aircraft are invited to display their aircraft. Aircraft will be displayed in the “Transient” parking area inside the airport just north of the terminal building and control tower.

10am-2pm: Chomp sushi in Fullerton has Champagne & Punch Family Brunch for $24.95 adults and $12.95 children. They have eggs, pancakes, omelettes, breakfast burritos and more.

10am-3pm: Sunday Funday at Slidebar means you can take the family for an all you can eat $25 Brunch & Bottomless Mimosas, kids 1/2 price!

10am-4pm: Join the Fullerton Arboretum for  The Salvia Spectacular featuring a huge selection of tropical and native Salvia species for sale.

3-8pm: Try some Salsa Dancing at Cal State Fullerton with the CSUF Salsa Club (click for details!).

4pm: Catch a matinee showing of Get Smart at Maverick Theater for $10 Student (with Current ID) and $20 General Admission.

You can also get your jazz jam on at Steamers with their jazz session and drink specials going on tonight. Mark you calendars: The Haunted Fullerton Walking Tours from Fullerton Museum Center are back ! Take a guided tour through Fullerton: Orange County’s Most Haunted City. Find out where ghosts have been sighted, and learn the real life stories behind the hauntings. Since tours fill quickly you might think about making your reservation today. They will be Wednesdays and Thursdays, running from September 14 – November 3, 6:00 – 8:30pm.$18 general admission/$15 for museum members.
