10am-5:30pm: Fullerton Critical Mass is meeting at the Fullerton Train Station to take the Metrolink to CicLAvia to ride bikes. Train leaves at 10:07am! CicLAvia is when 10 miles of LA roadways will temporarily close to car traffic and be open for recreational purposes. 

11am-4pm: The Fullerton Beautiful Open Garden Tour is a self-guided tour that begins at the Fullerton College Horticulture Department (Berkeley Ave.) Enjoy the plant sale and for $10 pick up a tour map. 11am-6pm: Hair of the Dog Sunday at House of Eden treats you to $2 Bloody Marys and $2 Mimosas with the only topless girls in town. 1-5pm: If you stay till 1pm you’ll get to be a part of Photo Shoot Sundays where you can watch, direct & join the Eden girls during a photo shoot.

2pm: Footloose: The Musical is presented at Cal State Fullerton’s Little Theater for $20.

2pm: The Applied Voice Recital at the Fullerton College Recital Hall presents Vocal Studies students perform a wide variety of vocal repertoire for $7.

2-4pm: The Heritage House Weekend Tours continue this weekend at the Fullerton Arboretum. Reservations not required; tours free however voluntary donations of $2/person are encouraged to help support the Heritage House.

3pm: The Southern California Philharmonic Concert will play live at the Fullerton College Campus Theater for $15. Hear the Young Artists Showcase featuring classical pieces.

3:30-5pm: The Open TESOL Seminar at Cal State Fullerton’s Kinesiology & Health Services (KHS) Building (Room 199) will feature Anaheim University’s renowned faculty of linguists.

7pm: As You Like It continues the Hunger Artists tradition of presenting modern, relevant Shakespeare productions. General admission is $18, $15 for students/seniors with ID.

All Day: Today marks the end of OC Restaurant Week! Don’t miss the great deals in Fullerton at participating restaurants – our special Restaurant Week page (link above) will help you decide!

6:30am-12pm: The Museum of Teaching and Learning will host a White Elephant Sale at Morningside Presbyterian Church (1201 E. Dorothy Ln. at the corner of Raymond Ave.)

7-10am: The Boy Scouts of Troop 97 will be serving their 49th Pancake Breakfast at Morningside Presbyterian Church (1201 E. Dorothy Lane at Raymond) for a $5 suggested donation.

8am-1pm: Mr. Fullerton Car Wash at Fullerton High School is $5 – $10, donations will also be accepted.

9am, 10am & 11am: Rainbow Garden Group Tours with Julie Johnston at the Fullerton Arboretum meets at the Nature Center. Minimum of 10 children, maximum of 30 children / 1 adult required for every 10 children, $60 flat fee for 10-20 children / $90 flat fee for 21-30 children. Be led through the delightful spring garden and get to plant your own seed!

9am: The Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Fullerton is sponsored by Fullerton Heritage. Tours are $5 per person for the general public and free to Fullerton Heritage members. The tour starts at the Fullerton Museum Center.

9-10:30am: Morning Yoga in the Garden at the Fullerton Arboretum is $52 for members and $60 for non-members for 4 classes. The class is appropriate for all levels including beginners. Ages 16 – 17 allowed with an adult. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a mat if you have one. Call (657) 278-3407 for more information.

9am: The DeMarini Softball Invitational will be held at Cal State Fullerton’s Anderson Family Field. The cost is $12 for a day pass for adults, Seniors & youth $10. Today the games include: 9 a.m.: California vs. Iowa; UCSB vs. IPFW, 11:15 a.m.: California vs. Murray St.; UCSB vs. Stanford, 1:30 a.m.: Oregon State vs. Southern Miss; Iowa vs. IPFW, 3:45 p.m.: Murray State vs. Stanford; Cal State Northridge vs. Northwestern, and 6:00 p.m.: CSF vs. Southern Miss; Oregon State vs. Northwestern.

9am: Cal State Fullerton will host the Ben Brown Track and Field Meet – an open track and field meet that annually attracts hundreds of competitors from all levels. Field events start at 9am and running events at 10am. $5 general admission and parking is free.

9am-12pm: The Fullerton Arboretum presents Botanical Art – Culinary Curiosities: Before There Was Bananas Foster for $30/members and $35/nonmembers. Let loose your creativity and explore the plant world through art! Join artist and botany instructor Tania Marien on an artistic exploration of the beautiful inner workings of banana plants in the second of three classes on select plants we most often enjoy as food.

9am-12pm: Eat the Yard! Organic Edible Gardening Series Part I: Intro to Edible Gardening at the Fullerton Arboretum is $20/members and $25/nonmembers. Full series discount price: 3 classes for $50/members and $60/nonmembers. The class covers low-labor lawn removal, soil amendment, planning for efficient use of space and resources, starting plants from seeds, companion planting and polyculture, and water conservative irrigation practices.

10am: Outdoor Fitness Boot Camp at the Student Recreation Center at Cal State Fullerton. To register, please visit the Recreation Services Desk, located on the second level of the SRC.

10am-4pm: The 2011 Tomato, Pepper, & Vegetable Plant Sale at Fullerton College. Get Tomatoes, Peppers, and Veggies- From tiny to jumbo, in a rainbow of colors, they’ll have over a hundred varieties to choose from, so go early for the best selection. 8pm: The Maverick Theater presents their production of The Wedding Singer, Written by Chad Beguelin & Tim Herlihy, Music by Matthew Sklar & Lyrics by Chad Beguelin and Directed by Curtis Jerome. The show ticket is $25 and suitable for ages 13+.
